The Labor Day weekend float trip, an AOH tradition

For longer than anyone can remember, AOH has upheld an annual tradition of floating down the Meramec River and camping out at Meramec State Park over the Labor Day weekend. It's how AOH celebrates the end of summer as the chorus starts looking ahead toward the holiday season. This year should be no different. We're hoping the rain gods take the weekend off, too.

It's a weekend full of grilling, goofiness, games, good tags and great memories. Each year, longtime AOH member and King "Kook" Kevin Nelson whips up hundreds upon hundreds of his famous nachos and buffalo wings (wangs) for everybody.

Most importantly, it's a chance for the members and families to kick back after a busy summer, celebrate chorus achievements, strengthen old friendships and make some new ones.

HUZZAH!
