Jonny Moroni, Director
A lifelong member of the Ambassadors of Harmony®, Jonny Moroni steps into the role of sole director in 2026. After serving as co-director since 2013 and associate director before that, Jonny now leads the five-time international champion chorus into a new era. A 2006 International Quartet Champion with Vocal Spectrum, Jonny combines world-class technical expertise with a passion for the AOH family. He lives in St. Peters, Missouri, with his wife, Lexi, and their four children.
David Wright, Associate Director
Wright has served as the lead director for the chorus from 1981 until 1990, when he passed the baton to Jim Henry. Wright has been instrumental in shaping the musical vision of the Ambassadors of Harmony®, having produced a multitude of arrangements for the chorus. His musical prowess extends beyond arranging and conducting. He has sung in three award winning quartets and serves as a judge in the category of Musicality for the Barbershop Harmony Society. Professionally he is a mathematician, now Professor Emeritus at Washington University’s Department of Mathematics, which he chaired for twelve years.
Dr. Jim Henry, Director Emeritus
Jim Henry served as the musical director of the Ambassadors of Harmony for more than three decades, guiding the chorus through an era of extraordinary artistic growth and international success. Appointed director in 1990, Jim’s leadership shaped the musical identity, culture and excellence that define AOH today. A respected educator, performer, and mentor, Jim’s influence extends far beyond the podium. In 2026, he steps into the role of Director Emeritus, honoring a lifetime of service while continuing his association with the chorus he loves.
