O'Fallon

They Kissed, and Then the Angels Sang (Like Turtles)

The mysterious intro sung by a large male choir transitions into the most delightful of songs for the recessional of this wedding! One of the members of the Ambassadors of Harmony was getting married on the same day as a performance, and about half of the group (about 80 men) decided to make a day of it and came to the wedding to make it an extra-special event. Check out the video below--the moment at :34 when the guests realize what song is being sung is just great!

The Ambassadors of Harmony is a 150-man chorus from St. Charles, Missouri which has won the gold medal at the Barbershop Harmony Society's international competition three times. This video was from 2005, about 9 months after the chorus won its first international competition. This song was originally a big hit by the band The Turtles, & is available on the CD Applause
